Hey doubleduece!! I was just hoping someone else would answer so it wouldn't be just you and I going back & forth!! I guess people are busy....
My all-time favorite show is The West Wing. It was a great show. Aaron Sorkin (the writer) is doing The Newsroom on HBO now. It's quite good, but there'll never be another West Wing!! Thank goodness for dvds!!

Gardenias
(I love fun facts: ) Gardenia plants are prized for the strong sweet scent of their flowers. In China and Japan, Gardenia jasminoides is called zhīzi (栀子) and kuchinashi (梔), respectively. Its blossom is used as a yellow dye. In France, gardenias are the flower traditionally worn by men as boutonnière when in evening dress. Sigmund Freud remarked to the poet H.D. that gardenias were his favorite flower. . It is the national flower of Pakistan. Several species occur on Hawaii, where gardenias are known as naʻu or nānū.

Hey Vee; I love fun facts to, I'm embarrassed to say I've never smelt a gardenia and I'm a gardener! Now I have to!
What's the most exciting thing you've ever done?

Hey breeziebeez, go to the top of the page and click on "profile" and then keeping following the "profile" or "edit profile" until you get to the avatar part where there are choices. I'm not exactly a whiz at this stuff, so I'm sure you can figure it out if I did!! Then come and play some more games!!
The most exciting thing I've ever done is go zip-lining in Costa Rica. A little too old and a bit overweight, but it was a blast!! I'd do it again for sure, and it seems to be getting fairly popular in the states now!!
What is the most valuable lesson you've learned in life so far?

Thanks Ellie! And I'm very jealous btw!!!
To never stop learning, a big part of what I mean by that is always question everything, especially yourself(in a constructive way)because I don't believe in blacks and whites or absolutes. And it's been my experience, far too many times, that Murphy's Law mandates the second you become overly certain of something , the universe will throw it back in your face and make you look the fool!
The other part; Seek out new things, follow up on your questions and ponderings, do the research to back up what you communicate to others etc. etc.
OK QUESTION- Have you found the great love of your life(person place or thing)?!! If so, describe it/them to us. If not, describe, as best you can, what you think it will be.

I must have found the great love of my life because recently when I was having health issues, he was right there, helping thru it all, holding my hand, and staying positive all the way. He even told me I still looked good when I lost all my hair!
My Question: If you were having a small group of friends over, what would you do to impress them?
PS. Breeziebeez you look cute!

Yes, breezie..... very cute avatar!!
And you sound VERY lucky, vee. I'm so happy for you!
I do love to entertain, so I find it's good to know what everyone drinks (and have it available), and serve really good food!! Also, making sure the music is appropriate for the situation is important, and then (knowing me), I'd try to play some games!! I'm not sure if anyone is actually impressed, but they do always seem to have a good time!!
Question.....What's your idea of a great party?

Yay! Vee! I love hearing that! Weird but my love did the same for me just last month, everyone should be so blessed! Thanks for the compliments you guys. It's the ears, isn't it?! I wish I had those ears!!
Actually the last party I was at was probably the best. Lots of just goodhearted people, some very close friends, some I had just met. Casually enjoying good food, good conversation and lot's of laughter. And NO Drama!
Question.... If you were financially(I mean bukoo bucks) in the position to make the world a better place, what are some of things you would do? Don't hold back, you may be on to something!! If you have great ideas, without so many bucks, even better!

lol Thanks, yes, it's the ears, even Star Trekkies can't resist 'em.
Oh my gosh, Who wouldn't want to help do away with poverty, disease, & help those who need it? There has always been the "haves and the have-nots." These days with so many billionaires, where can one start? I know there are some good and honest organizations that could oversee some real help to many, I would support them. In the end, it's all about the Love, (no price-tags on that.)
Question: What's something you're proud of?
(lol even something simple like learning to use chopsticks, or learning to swim)

Nice answer, Vee!! I avoided it because it was a heavy question!!
I am proud of the fact that I took care of my Mom for the last 2-1/2 years of her life despite the fact that we weren't that close and we had a hard relationship. The experience taught me a lot, and I'm proud that I stepped up!
I'm gonna lighten it up a bit.....
What's your favorite ice cream?

Yes Vee very nice and Ellie Wow! I think if we're lucky sometimes God gives us the opportunity to be "heros"( I hope you know I don't mean your mom's misfortune was lucky...Just your chance to make a difference). You most certainly stepped up to the plate, so to speak!..Nice. Sorry about the heavy ?, I thought the same thing after I wrote it. Glad someone took it on!
ANSWER-Still a hard one! Hagendaaz- Coffee
