Wim Wender's, "Wings of Desire". To me it was beautiful following Damiel's(Bruno Ganz) journey from an apathetic witness to a lovesick man. And I enjoyed the irony that falling in love caused him to lose his wing's and fall from grace. While in the world of Man, falling in love is considered beautiful, is wished for and a blessing.
Also. they did an incredible job casting. I can't imagine a more perfect angel/Damiel than Bruno Ganz and Peter Faulk was great as Lucifer, as well(whether he was or wasn't Satan is left for the audience to decide). The film's been described as poetic, I think that's a good way to explain how it makes you feel, if that makes sense.
QUESTION- What are your favorite song lyrics and why?

My favorite song is It Don't Come Easy, singer Ringo Starr The lyric "Got to pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues" rings true especially for people who complain about things when they haven't earned that right!
Would you prefer a day at the beach or a day hiking in the mountains?

Tough question. I sunburn quite easily, but my feet hurt quickly if I'm on them for a long period of time. But if I absolutely had to choose one... Maybe the day at the beach.

My favorite television show of all times is I Love Lucy. I can remember watching the show as a child in the summer when I was on summer vacation and it amazes me that the show is still on. I like to watch the show and no matter how many times I watch it, it still can make me laugh. There's some thing remarkable about that I feel.
If you could vacation any where in the world where would it be?

I've been telling my mother that I'd love to go to Quebec City. So that's my answer.
If you could choose what game show comes to GSN (with it being approved), which one would it be?

Ice hockey, first and foremost. NASCAR comes in second (a close second).

ELLIE-----EDUCATION IS GREAT AS LONG AS IT OPENS DOORS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TOO YOU AND YOUR WAY OF LIFE. WE WERE PLEASED WHEN OUR CHILDREN GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE, BUT MOST PROUD WHEN THEY LANDED THEIR JOBS!!!!! WE HAVE NEVER BEEN SO BROKE!
NAME SOMETHING THAT WAS AN IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR CHILDHOOD THAT WOULD MAKE YOUR CHILDREN LAUGH TODAY. NOT IN A CRUEL WAY.

I have one in college and I am broke!! lol
In my childhood..... we had about 6 TV stations to choose from!! There were the 3 biggies: ABC, NBC, & CBS. Then there were those "UHF" channels. The numbers were 17, 29, & 48 (in the Philadelphia area)!! I don't remember the actual call letters!! And guess what? There was ALWAYS something good to watch! Unlike today, where we can't find ANYTHING to watch even though there are about a gazillion stations!!
Does your family have any interesting Thanksgiving traditions? What's Thanksgiving like at your house?
